İNTER-MED Medikal Sistemler A.Ş. is an İzmir medical imaging distributor. Its founder Selçuk Sözen entered the medical sector in 1984 and the company took its corporate form in 1988. In the 1980s it installed some of Türkiye’s first imaging devices with 3M, GE and EMI equipment, including the country’s first CT scanner and its first wet and dry laser imagers.Its imaging distributorships began with 3M in 1988 and continued with Imation (1993), Kodak (1998) and Carestream (2007). Today İNTER-MED is the sole authorised Turkish distributor and service provider for Carestream radiology products.The range includes DR detectors, CR systems, analogue X-ray, imaging software, DRYVIEW printers and films, Rimage CD/DVD publishing systems and Beacon diagnostic medical monitors, backed by 24/7 technical service.
