Tende has been a medical device manufacturer since 1997. In 2009 it made Türkiye's first LED phototherapy unit, the Tende Babyblue, followed by the CareBlue model, which has an adjustable colour touch screen and a lightweight, robust and aesthetic design.

In 2014, after years of R&D, Tende entered the newborn sector with the Tende VAV Intensive Care Baby Incubator. In 2016 it introduced the Tende VAV-TR, described as Türkiye's first real transport incubator for newborns. Since 2017 the Tende Babyblue 360 Tunnel Type Intensive Phototherapy Device, which has a patented fan-free feature, has been used to treat babies with critical bilirubin levels. Tende supports healthcare specialists in Türkiye and many other countries.
