SEL Tıbbi Malzemeler was established in 2008 and decided in 2013 to start producing medical materials with its partners Birgül YALÇIN, an expert biologist, and Ali Ulvi ADIBELLI, an industrial engineer. A special production model was created to meet the expectations of current technologies, continuity of production, quality standards, CE directives and the market, using machines and equipment from experienced producers for parallel production.

Following the 2013 decision to produce vacuum blood tubes, the company received an investment incentive certificate from the Ministry of Economy. Production started in December 2014. Its range covers clinical laboratory supplies, laboratory tools and consumables, plastic and glass laboratory materials and disposable supplies.
