Pelsan Tekstil is a Hassan Group company that produces breathable and non-breathable polyethylene films and laminated nonwoven materials. Founded in 2006, it was the first producer of breathable films in Türkiye, and in 2021 it moved to a new plant in the Çerkezköy Organised Industrial Zone, Tekirdağ.For the medical sector Pelsan laminates nonwovens made by Hassan Group companies with breathable and non-breathable films. It supplies surgical drape and gown materials from 20 to 116 gsm, stated to comply with EN 13795, and fabrics for protective clothing.The plant covers blown film, cast film, compounding, flexo and rotogravure printing, lamination and slitting. Pelsan also serves hygiene and industrial customers and opened a US plant in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
