Ottoman Group Implant was established in 2011 by bringing together five companies, to work in orthopaedic surgical materials, arthroplasty and trauma. It describes itself as operating in the health sector with 40 years of experience, and serves the medical market through 38 dealers in Türkiye and seven distributors abroad.

The group's product brand, OTIMED, has been used in more than 10,000 operations and in dozens of different hospitals, and more than 500 different surgeons have tried and used its products. The company says its arthroplasty and trauma product groups have been used in approximately 200 patients. In the short term it aims to increase its dealers and distributors, at home and abroad, by at least 30% by accelerating R&D and expanding its machine park. In the long term it aims to become one of the top five companies known in the medical market worldwide.
