Oruba

Oruba is a Turkish medical device company that designs and manufactures operator-free point-of-care devices for urology. It was incorporated in 2011 after its founder's graduation project won a prize, and took part in the METU TeknoJump, TÜBİTAK and Etohum programmes.Its main product is Oruflow, a self-cleaning uroflowmeter that runs a test without an operator, flushes itself and sends results to the hospital information system through HL7, DICOM or SOAP integration. Oruflow is offered as a urinal-type unit and in a toilet form factor. In 2025 the company released Inalys, a real-time urine analyser. Its first product was a urodynamics medical simulation system.Oruba states that it obtained the CE mark and ISO 13485 certification in 2016, FDA registration in 2018 and ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certification in 2024. More than 500 Oruflow units are installed in over 35 countries, and the company is looking for distributors.
