Ortolog was founded in 2017 in Ankara, Türkiye, with more than 20 years of experience in the orthopaedic sector. It develops and designs its own products, aiming to help patients return to social and economic life without pain in a short time, with minimally invasive designs that respect bone and soft tissue.
Its products are based on UHMWPE and include the patented Ortholox® UHMWPE Cerclage Band System, for segmental fractures of long bones and prosthesis revision surgery; the Ortholox®Gh UHMWPE AC Joint Internal Bracing System, for acromioclavicular joint dislocation; the Ortholox® UHMWPE Sternotomy Closure System, for closing the sternum after open heart surgery or lobectomy; and the Ortholox® UHMWPE Spinal Posterior Fixation System.
