Opak Lens

Opak Lens is an İstanbul-based supplier of contact lenses and ophthalmic lenses to optical stores in Türkiye, with its head office in Kavacık. Under Turkish law contact lenses are sold at retail only through opticians, and Opak Lens sells to this channel only.The company is a wholesaler of Johnson & Johnson contact lenses and solutions, distributes Cihan Medical's Elegance lenses and is the Turkish distributor for Safilens (Italy) and Solotica (Brazil). It states that it serves about 95% of the 7,830 optician shops in Türkiye and delivers the same day to 75% of them.Since 2016 it also supplies spectacle lenses. In 2017 it added custom-made lenses, and in November 2018 it acquired Akay Optik, adding domestic ophthalmic lens production. Its own CE-marked lens brands are GP Plus, Frequency, Biomedix, EyeArt and GP Ultra.
