Onko Koçsel

Onko Koçsel (Onko İlaç) is a pharmaceutical manufacturer founded as a family company in 1987, with its head office and production site in Gebze Organised Industrial Zone 2, Kocaeli. It built an oncology and hematology portfolio from 1988, entered the vaccine market in 1995 and later added rheumatology and radiology.Local production started in 2002, and the new production facilities received Turkish GMP approval in 2014. The company states that all production lines have held EU GMP and MHRA approval since 2017, and Canadian GMP approval since 2019, the year of its first European licence.Onko reports more than 600 employees, more than 450 licences, activity in more than 100 countries and over 15 million units of production. It runs a Ministry-approved R&D centre for high-potency medicines.
