Moltek is a nuclear medicine company founded in 2007, with its head office in Kartal, İstanbul and its production plant in the Gebze Organised Industrial Zone, Kocaeli. Since 2009 it has produced radiopharmaceuticals used for the diagnosis of many types of cancer, such as FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose-18F) for PET imaging.Since 2014 Moltek has also distributed radiopharmaceuticals and technologies that are not made in Türkiye, including Ge-68/Ga-68 generators and Modular-Lab radiosynthesis systems from Eckert & Ziegler, cold kits such as NephroMAG-3 and PoltechMIBI, and therapy precursors such as Lu-177, Y-90 and Ac-225.The company runs its own R&D laboratory. In 2021 it received an investment from the private equity fund Taxim Capital to grow in Türkiye and abroad.
