Modul Grup was founded in 1997 as Modul Elektronik İletişim Hizmetleri and took its current corporate form, Module Group Engineering, in 2011. Its quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2008 (from 2012) and ISO 13485 (from the first half of 2013). The company designs and produces electronics, software and hardware for the defence, medical and advertising industries, and develops R&D projects to the requests of individuals and firms.
At the beginning of 2013 the company began branding its products under the name Oxivent. In 2013 it launched its own CE-certified portable emergency lung ventilator, described as the first domestic one. Its products include ventilators and test and measurement devices.
