Medikaya was founded in 2010 in İzmir's historic Kemeraltı bazaar, the centre of the city's medical trade, and supplies disposable medical supplies.
Alongside its own brands Medikaya, MDK, MDK Medikaya and Adaset, the company works in Türkiye with the foreign brands Kiato and Surgeon. Its products include Kiato scalpel blades for a wide range of surgical procedures and Adaset and MDK sterile, single-use three-part syringes.
