Karadeniz Medikal was founded in Istanbul in 1994 by Metin Azak. The Turkish company has been offering tailored solutions with its alternative product groups since 1994, and carries out wholesale (B2B) sales of wheelchairs, walking aids (walkers and crutches) and hospital bed products for disabled and elderly people and for individuals receiving orthopedic treatment. The lower age limit for users of its products is 2 years; there is no upper limit.

The company owns the brands Jetty, Golfi, Loco, Scuba and Azka. It has medical customers in almost all provinces of Turkey and exports to more than 20 countries abroad.

On the 30th anniversary of its establishment (January 2024), the company decided to expand its portfolio by starting to produce hospital beds in its Dilovası/Kocaeli factory. As an importer, exporter and manufacturer, it aims to raise awareness of its brands in foreign countries.
