Hitaş started in 1982 by producing the first aluminium auxiliary crutches in Turkey. It has since grown its range to over 500 products in two main fields, Emergency and Rescue, and Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.

The company works from a closed manufacturing facility of over 2000 m2 with capacity for domestic and international orders, and holds an ISO 9001:2000 certificate. Its stated mission is to provide the medical sector with high-tech, high-quality products at economical costs; its vision is to keep improving its range and to be a leading company in the domestic and international market.
