Gündem has worked in medical packaging, sterilization and cleaning control, CSSD and decontamination since 1990. It has developed internationally patented medical packaging devices and accessories, including 12 models of fully automatic and manual pouch making devices, rotary sealers, impulse sealers and accessories, surgical instrument identification tapes, sterile entrance mats with disinfectant, labels with indicator and a label gun for sterilization control documentation, and sterilization packaging materials in rolls and pouches.

Its products conform to the relevant standards (EN 868, ISO 11607-2 and others) and carry CE certificates. The company also holds patents, trademark registrations, Domestic Goods and Service Competence certificates, and EN ISO 9001:2015 certification. It is a manufacturer and exporter, and also an importer and the Turkey distributor of leading international manufacturers. It says it was the first to introduce a 'Sleep Mode' for energy saving in its devices, in 2009, and it runs seminars across Türkiye on medical packaging standards, sterilization process control and documentation practices.
