Axolotl Biosystems (AxolotlBio) is an İstanbul-based developer of tissue-engineering and biofabrication tools for researchers. It builds high-resolution desktop 3D bioprinters and bioinks for producing functional three-dimensional living tissues, and combines bioprinting with melt electrowriting.
Its products include the Axo A3 and Axo A6 bioprinters, the AxoSuite control software, printheads and consumables, the Axo MEW melt electrowriting system and the Axo Mechano bioreactor for mechanical and electrical stimulation in mechanobiology research. The company develops its products together with researchers in materials science and regenerative medicine and also builds platforms to customers' specific needs.
