Akmeda Medikal produces disposable medical textiles under the Medicotex brand. Its factory is in the Ostim Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara, on a total area of 5000 m2, of which 3700 m2 is closed and 1000 m2 open.

Annual production capacity is 20,000,000 disposable gowns, 3,000,000 disposable drapes and 1,000,000 disposable drape sets. Equipment includes fully automatic fabric spreading and cutting machines, ultrasonic, overlock and conventional sewing machines, a fully automatic packaging machine, ETO sterilization machines (29,000 lt capacity) and a clean room compliant with the Class 100,000 standard.
