Matek Medikal is an Ankara-based manufacturer of disposable biopsy needles and describes itself as a pioneering domestic producer of biopsy needles in Türkiye. In 2003 it started a project with TÜBİTAK to turn its long experience with biopsy needles into its own products.
With its manufacturing facility and technical background, the company completed its R&D programme for different types of disposable biopsy needles and continues to expand its capacity and product range, developing needles for different medical fields. Matek holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification, and all its products carry the CE mark.
